LUCK Violente Fortuna (given space by INIT) I am dependent on you to make the list the best I can. If you see any mistake within this list, PLEASE comment and correct me! (preferably with actual knowledge and less 'afaik') I can't observe and know everything of and about New Eden at once and I WILL make mistakes. So you can see them as afiiliated alliances, that are not part of the respective coalition, but have some kind of "business ties" to it or however you wanna call it. If the sub-points are under a '+++++'-line, it means, that they are affiliated with the coalition they're listed under some way or the other, but not a specific alliance. (Remember: every relationship is special, I can't/won't depict them all on their own). So don't be butthurt about it.ĭisclaimer 3: If there is a sub-point in the list, this means the alliance is (mostly) affiliated with the alliance above for example as renters, pets, best friends or similar. Also for that reason I decided to add significant "map actors" like renter alliances, that have their space under own flag.ĭisclaimer 2: The order in which I've put the coalitions is not a specific one. I also decided to leave out some of the currently merging/failscading/disbanding/dead/dying alliances for the same reason. It is by no means meant to be disrespectful to these alliances. I simply decided to not include them in my list for coherence, readability and simplicity. I know there are hundreds of alliances out there that live in wormholes, highsec, lowsec, nc nullsec or nullsec without a TCU or only a handful bringing them on any map. This would not be given, if I am explaining 6700 inter-alliance-relationships, it's just meant to be a list with general affiliations for a first overview, not something you should found your diplomacy on with trillions of ISK involved.īefore we start, I'd like to have a things out of the way first, though:ĭisclaimer 1: The list is NullSec & Sovereignty-oriented to especially help with the colorization of the Coalition Map here: I had to make compromises to still have a decent readability. This list is meant to be a first introduction for people interested being in basic EvE politics and to get a hunch of who is with who.īefore we get started, let me say that this is not a 100,00% accurate representation of New Eden, as it is not possible to depict every single special diplomatic relationship the way it is. This could be explained by a misquote or by Marine maneuvers or exercises at Quantico. It's time to present a new Null-Sec coalition list. In an October 1927 interview published in the Independent (Nebraska), Sousa claimed "I wrote Semper Fidelis one night while in tears after my comrades of the Marine Corps had sung their famous Hymn at Quantico (which is now home to Marine Corps Base Quantico)." However, no Marines were stationed at Quantico until and he wrote the song in 1888. Neither displaced Hail to the Chief as the song most closely associated with the United States President. Sousa began performing Presidential Polonaise (1886) and later Semper Fidelis, although Arthur predeceased the latter. President Arthur felt that Hail to the Chief was undignified and requested a new presidential composition. Sousa began as the musical conductor of the United States Marine Corps Band, known as "The President's Own", in 1880 and led the Band for five presidential administrations. The United States Marine Corps website refers to the song as "the Official March of the Marine Corps". However, a flood destroyed many Marine Corps records, even those documenting Sousa's rank as leader of the United States Marine Corps Band an order designating it as an official march could have been lost.

According to accounts summarized in the CD liner notes, Sousa is regarded by historians as honest and on many occasions noted that the march was named the official march of the Marine Corps. There does not exist an original general order documenting the proclamation of Semper Fidelis as the official march of the Marines.
